Dog Owners Live Longer Says Recent Research

Compared to others mortality rate was found lower in dog parents

New York, October 13, 2019: Those who own dog have better health hence they live longer compared to others according to recent findings. The study, published in Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, a journal of the American Heart Association, found owning a dog is associated with a 24 percent reduced risk of all-cause mortality and a 31 percent lower risk of death by heart attack or stroke compared to non-owners.

“These two studies provide good, quality data indicating dog ownership is associated with reduced cardiac and all-cause mortality,” said Glenn N Levine, the chair of a writing group on pet ownership.”While these non-randomised studies cannot ‘prove’ that adopting or owning a dog directly leads to reduced mortality, these robust findings are certainly at least suggestive of this.”

According to a report published in Newshub it is believed our four-legged friends help our health by increasing our physical activity and decreasing our rates of depression and loneliness.”Having a dog was associated with increased physical exercise, lower blood pressure levels and better cholesterol profile in previous reports,” said Caroline Kramer, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.”As such, the findings that people who owned dogs lived longer and their risk for cardiovascular death was also lower are somewhat expected.”

How Could I Live Without You

You’re amazed that someone with four legs could change your life so drastically

New Delhi, October 9, 2019: Making the decision to get a dog is a tough one. There are lots of serious things you’ll need to consider before taking the final step, so better don’t rush into getting a dog unless you’re sure you’ll manage to give her a good life. But once you have a four-legged furball in your arms, that big decision you fretted over feels like a no-brainer.

From the very start, when you hold her in your arms, you’re head-over-heels in love with them. This little fluffball actually gets to live with you? And when you get her home, you’re obsessed with watching them figure things out. What if she’s scared? Can I get her something to eat? I think I saw her shivering? Is she alright? Suddenly, you realize now that life isn’t just about you anymore. A living thing is depending on you in a whole new way, and it feels kind of amazing. And that helping them actually helps you. For starters, they force you to be healthy by getting out of bed and feeding them, even on days when you’d rather hide inside and pout.

Being responsible for another living being means you have to be dependable and organized in a way you never were before, and that makes your whole life better. Thanks to your fur baby, you’re getting more exercise than ever. Whether you need to take her for a walk or she just needs you to run around and play with her, your heart rate is up way more often than it used to be. It makes nap time a lot more satisfying. Because someone is always waiting for you when you come home, leaving the party early doesn’t seem so bad when you know they’re ready to greet you with heaps of love and
no agenda.

The life of doing what you want or staying where you want change as you need to go home and be with her or have to find others to watch while you are out having fun. Think of when you go on a vacation: you can’t just get up and leave now; you need to find a puppy sitter–one that you can trust to do a good job. They listen when you need to talk. And they’ll never argue with you or tell you your ideas are stupid. And they always know when you’re feeling down. If you shed so much as a single tear, they somehow sense it from all the way across the house and run to your side. So they act like a goof when you need it the most. They can tell when you could use a good laugh. You practically speak your own language with each other. Naturally, you think your pet is the best pet. Other people’s pets are nice and all, but obviously, little Bella is smarter than most dogs, and every little silly thing she does is the absolute funniest.

You’re amazed that someone with four legs could change your life so drastically. It’s not just your home life that’s rosier, but even work and your social life feel brighter. It’s so much easier to be optimistic now about anything and everything. Who knew you could love a fuzzy creature this much! And you have to wonder if maybe they chose you. That feeling when they pause to eagerly look back at you after running full-speed ahead of you has a power to melt your heart like no other. How did you ever live without them?
